Training courses offered by A.G.E.D. SECURITY
We train for the following disciplines:
*Pistol fit testing (to learn what's comfortable if you're a beginner)
*Firearms Basics (weapons safety, range safety, proper use & fundamentals of marksmanship)
*Basic Fam/fire & TN HCP quals (the standard low-level shooting for getting your permit, which we recommend for out of state travel carry)
*Armed / unarmed guard certifications (including DALLAS Law cert, CPR/AED/1st aid, non lethal control devices certifications primarily for expandable baton)
*AVERT Active Shooter Response certification
*Advanced Defensive Pistol training
*Tactical Rifle basics
*Tactical rifle advanced
*Basic Defensive Shotgun
*Expert weaponeer (multiple target / moving target engagement with transitions)
*Tactical engagement scenario training
*Executive Protection vehicular counter assault training
We do both private & group training, training the ladies & have a specific training program for educating today's kids from weapons safety on up to pistol & rifle shooting basics, with qualifications.
Some of the training portions are "blended" meaning an online portion link gets sent to email for completion of the videos & quizzes before coming out to the training site for practical application of concepts. Range days are conducted depending on the specific training.
Pricing currently looks like this;
•Pistol Basics course (includes fit testing & basic firearms qualifications) - $20 + range fee
•Security certs - $100 (armed), $70 (unarmed), $50 (recerts). Armed cert also includes DALLAS Law certs (CPR, de-escalation, safe restraint)
•Active Shooter Response - $60
•Advanced Pistol / Basic Rifle / Basic shotgun - $25 + range fee
•Advanced Rifle / Expert Weaponeer - $50 + range fee
•Scenario training - $100
•Vehicular counter assault - $200
All basics pracapp portions are 2hours or less unless more time is needed for fine tuning. Advanced pracapp courses are 4hours or less. Security certs are technically 16hours (2days) for armed or 4hours unarmed. Weaponeer, scenario training & VCA are up to 8hours.
